Abra Cadabra is an inventive British rapper beingranked as one of the UK rap scene’s most promising stars. The up and coming star hails from Tottenham and was first brought to public attention upon the release of his Blackbox in 2015. The 9-minute freestyle perfectly conveyed his versatility as an artist as he devoured two very contrasting instrumentals. This display was just the beginning as his extended version of Robbery performed in the opening 3 minutes of his Blackbox ignited the public’s demand for more. 

He continued to deliver with songs such as man down part 2, the roads & 4/20 before dropping his Mad About Bars. This demonstration of lyricism has been credited as one of the most reflective and thought-provoking freestyles of 2016and went on to become the first Mad About Bars to gain 1 million views.

A month later, Abra and his young team returned with spectacular visuals to complement Robberyon Mixtape Madness. They continued their domination of the scene by releasing another video within weeks via Grm Daily, featuring the UK’s most lyrically gifted and accomplished duo, Krept and Konan. The remix instantly shot to success with an astounding 11 million views currently standing on the official video. 

The success didn’t stopthere as the Robbery remix went on to earn Abra Cadabra The Grime Daily rated award for Best track,where he delivered an acceptance speech filled with humour and worthy of its own accolade. In addition to this he went on to earn a prestigious Mobo award for best song. A title previously attained by artists such as Skepta, Sam smith and Jessie J hinting at his potential for international success. 

The young star has since gone on to feature In October’s issue of Vogue, won a MOBO Award Award, as well as working with one of England’s most auspicious footballers, Dele Ali for Adidas. Abra Cadabra continues to shine as he features on tracks with British powerhouse’s such as Stefflon Don, Kojo Funds and Sneakbo.
