Stylo G is a Jamaican-English dancehall MC whose fusion of reggae, hip-hop, and electronica encompasses the musical styles of both nations.

∙ The son of dancehall legend Poison Chang, he grew up loving such artists as reggaetón pioneer Shabba Ranks, and he performed onstage with his father at age seven.
∙ After moving to London as a teen, Stylo G first gained attention with the popular 2004 grime track “My Yout,” alongside Ice Kid and Sickman.
∙ He worked with such grime artists and rappers as Wretch 32 and Chipmunk before releasing 2011’s “Call Mi a Yardie,” which became a go-to track at dancehall raves.
∙ His first hit, the high-energy 2013 anthem “Soundbwoy,” rose to No. 18 on the UK singles chart.
∙ In 2014, he was featured on Clean Bandit’s pop single “Come Over” and Dillon Francis’ dance hit “We Make It Bounce.”
