MOBO award winner, MP3 Awards winner & two time GMA nominee Triple O is a UK Christian act whose work and music speaks volumes to the masses – focused on taking the gospel music and message to the mainstream, this is definitely a young man with a bright future. With numerous independent releases and various award nominations, Triple O is an artist driven and focused on spreading the message of truth through the medium of rap.

Bursting onto the scene in 2005 and hailing from the east-ends of London, the notorious home of ‘Grime’ Music, Triple O has gone on to be one of the rising stars of the UK’s urban gospel scene. Triple O is an innovative and passionate rapper breaking through the United Kingdom’s rapidly emerging gospel scene.

He has graced the Oceans arena in Hackney, the Clapham Grand and in front of over 10,000 young people at the Excel Centre for the biannual Festival of Life. He has also done a live recording for Revelation TV’s RMusic in addition to numerous television appearances; having performed at some of London’s biggest and most vibrant churches.

Triple aims to accurately communicate God’s heart to a mainstream culture without compromising the message of the Cross – a message which brings hope and life to those whom encounter it. Triple O has already collaborated and shared stages with artists such as Sonnie Badu, Trip Lee, Dwayne Tryumf, Phillipa Hannah, Jahaziel, Priscilla Jones, Guvna B, and The Ambassador, as well as also featuring on the 2007 underground smash ‘Bibles Bibles’ which went on to get heavy rotation on Channel AKA (Formerly Channel U). Triple O is also a two time GMA (Gospel Music Award).

Triple O has also been fortune enough to tour with Grammy nominated American Rap artist ‘Lecrae’, and share the stage with a mainstream grime MC’s Chipmunk, Bashy and Ghetto, whilst receiving airplay from stations such as Choice FM, Premier Radio and BBC 1Xtra to name but a few.

For his debut EP, ‘G2G – Grime to Gospel’ released in April 2008 - Triple received rave reviews in the Gospel Link Magazine, UKGOSPEL.COM and many other respected distributors.

His debut single ‘’Come Home’’ featured talented hip-hop artist Mighty and was an emotional mid-tempo track, which fused soulful hip-hop with today’s very popular electro sound. It has been described as “a great balance between contemporary urban music and meaningful message. Rap meets worship.’ – Guvna B. And with countless remixes, it was classed as one of UK Gospel’s biggest songs of 2011.

Subsequently Triple O has gone on to release two mixtapes, ‘’The Overnight Garden’’ in February 2011, and ‘’24: The Gratitude EP’’ in May 2011 - which have both culminated in a significant amount of downloads in their first weeks respectively.

His debut album “Flatline” was released on 11th of July 2011, and did extremely well on itunes and amazon which resulted in a UK Tour. ‘’The Flatline Roadshow’’ took Triple O and the album to Luton, Birmingham and Manchester and was a highly acclaimed venture.

This was later rewarded in October 2011 with a MOBO (Music of Black Origin) award in the ‘’Best Gospel’’ Category along with best song for ‘Teach Me How To Walk’ at The MP3 Music awards. With so much still ahead of him, this is definitely one artist destined for big things. He crowned the year off with his first ever London stage show ‘’#Insurgery23’’ (December 2011), one of the most talked about events of the year’ after The MP3 Music awards.
