AJ Tracey is on an unstoppable trajectory. An unforgettable soundtrack to the Summer, his hit “Ladbroke Grove” was officially the top selling independent single of 2019, now certified Double-Platinum (over 1.2 million sales.) It was nominated for a BRIT Award, and won an NME Award for Best British Song, it’s platinum status joining the Summer 2018 hit “Butterflies” ft. Not3s. Last year AJ released his debut self-titled album, which after charting #3 in the UK Official Charts, spent 14 weeks in the UK Top 10 and is now certified Gold. He sold out two shows at London’s 10,000 capacity Alexandra Palace, and gained his first Brit Award nomination.
2020 has been AJ’s biggest year to date, with his single “West Ten” with Mabel, (certified silver) landing in the wake of chart-scaling singles “Dinner Guest” ft. MoStack (eight weeks inside the UK Top Ten, now certified Silver), #1 charity single “Times Like These”, (alongside Dua Lipa, Rag & Bone Man, and The Foo Fighters), and the Platinum-certified TikTok sensation “Rain” with Aitch. AJ has since featured on Headie One’s “Ain’t It Different” alongside Stormzy - a track that peaked at Number 3 in the UK official chart and is still climbing.
Having released music since 2011, the Ladbroke Grove rapper saw a pivotal moment in 2016’s now Platinum collaboration with Dave, titled “Thiago Silva.” A few singles later, AJ released his Secure The Bag! EP, which is promised a sequel later this year. Still at just 26-years-old and having featured in Forbes 30 under 30, nothing could have prepared AJ Tracey for his meteoric rise. Critically acclaimed, and with a transatlantic nod of approval, AJ has appeared on tracks alongside Missy Elliott, A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross, Baauer and more.
Boasting over 1 billion global streams, AJ continues to push the boundaries of UK Rap, with his dextrous and witty wordplay, and his admirable self-built and independent music journeys; a formidable and unwavering talent.
