Che Lingo

Che Lingo has built up a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting and best-respected rappers. Born in South West London during the conception of UK rap & grime, Che started making music in local youth clubs, not being able to afford studio time. Inspired by love, society, his own demons and much more as he grows and learns; the introspective, anime-loving wordsmith never spares a word or beat, skilfully filling his tracks with relatable lyrics and emotions, boasting a range of hip hop and grime influences.

Che can count the likes of Ghetts, Stormzy and Dave amongst his fans and has drawn praise from The Guardian, NME, Complex, The Independent, Annie Mac, DJ Target and many more, playing Glastonbury, Boomtown, Latitude and selling out his UK Tour before the pandemic set in. Having signed to Idris Elba’s label 7Wallace, syncing tracks on both FIFA21 and NBA2K21, as well as collaborating with the likes of Audemars Piguet and BT Sport, Che has also used his status to fight social injustice; confronting the police brutality against Julian Cole, becoming the face of the BLACK DREAMS MATTER campaign and featuring in Channel 4’s series The Whole Truth about mental health, music and racism. ‘Eyes On The Prize’ kicks off an exciting new chapter for Che as his star continues to rise, with many new projects on the horizon across music, fashion, social activism and much more.
