Tion Wayne

Following a career-halting stint in prison, London rapper Tion Wayne returned for a second run that spawned a series of Top 10 UK hits.

• After generating buzz in the late 2000s with his early DIY music videos, Wayne released his debut mixtape, Wayne’s World, in 2014.
• Capitalizing on his heightened profile after serving as an opening act for artists like Rick Ross and Sarkodie, Wayne dropped Wayne’s World 2 in 2016.
• In 2017, his momentum was disrupted by a 16-month incarceration. Upon his return, he released “Home”, the soundtrack to his homecoming, in 2018. Featuring footage of his release, the music video garnered more than 3 million views.
• His appearance on London rap group NSG’s platinum-certified “Options”, the centerpiece of their 2018 Roots mixtape, marked his first time in the Top 10 on the UK singles chart.
• After scoring another Top 10 hit with 2019’s “Keisha & Becky”, a collaboration with fellow London MC Russ Millions, he issued T Wayne’s World 3, his first project to crack the UK albums chart.
• In 2020, Wayne returned to the Top 10 by guesting on KSI’s No. 6 hit “Houdini”. A few months later, Wayne notched another Top 10 with “I Dunno,” a collaboration with Stormzy and Dutchavelli.
• He and Russ Millions scored a No. 1 UK hit with their 2021 team-up “Body.”
